Emcee Singapore - The OTH x Tenants' Giveback event kicked off on 30th November 2024 with families registering at Our Tampines Hub's SPACE ballroom, receiving wristbands that ensured their participation in the day’s activities. After registration, everyone was treated to a hearty breakfast sponsored by McDonald's, featuring Fillet-o-fish meals, hashbrowns, and Milo packs. While waiting for the arrival of the Tampines GRC advisers, emcee Ivan engaged the crowd with a fun game of human “Scissors, Paper, Stone.”
At 9:30 AM, the event reached a significant moment with the arrival of Minister Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for Social and Family Development, and Dr. Charlene Chen, 2nd Adviser to Tampines GRC. The ministers witnessed the donation of $5,000 to the NECDC STAR programme, which was matched by NECDC, doubling the impact for local families.
Families then moved to Sonic Bowl for exciting games and later participated in a Terrarium Workshop designed to promote family bonding. The event wrapped up with families collecting goodie bags and entering the lucky draw, making it a heartwarming day of community spirit. The emcee helped keep the atmosphere lively throughout the day, ensuring everyone enjoyed every moment of the event.
