Emcee Singapore - At the heart of the TTSH Student Festival 2024, held at the vibrant Center for Healthcare Innovation (CHI), students from various healthcare family groups – nursing, medical, allied health, and pharmacy – come together to celebrate collaboration and unity. The event kicks off with an exciting array of live stations, featuring Churros, Nachos & Cheese, an ice cream cart, and the unique Thai Rolled Ice Cream, all set up alongside a buffet and a lively photobooth. As the attendees register, enjoy lunch, and explore the live stations, the emcee takes the stage, welcoming everyone with a safety briefing, setting the tone for the day. In an engaging icebreaker, the emcee introduces a hand hygiene word guessing game, where participants use the Mentimeter platform to answer 31 fun, hygiene-related questions. The final phrase to be guessed – “BREAKING BARRIERS & BUILDING BRIDGES” – becomes the theme that ties the event together. The emcee, in classic emcee Singapore style, builds excitement, ensuring that every group, regardless of correct or incorrect answers, receives clues that lead them to the final phrase. As the participants joyfully read the phrase together, the emcee explains its deeper meaning – the importance of working as one team in healthcare, across all disciplines. Hand hygiene pouches are distributed as prizes, reinforcing the message of unity and collaboration. The excitement continues with an Amazing Race-style challenge across levels 5 and 6, where teams race through 10 stations. As the day comes to a close, the prize presentation and feedback session bring the event full circle, reminding all participants that healthcare is not just about individual family groups but a collective effort of breaking barriers and building bridges.
