The event kicked off with the emcee warmly welcoming residents and introducing the day’s schedule. The festivities began with an insightful Fengshui Talk, followed by an electrifying Lion Dance performance that filled the air with excitement and traditional charm. At 12:15 PM, food stations opened, offering a variety of delicious treats, while the CSY Mascot roamed around, spreading joy and taking photos with residents.
The afternoon was packed with interactive activities, including Stage Game #01 and Stage Game #02, where participants competed for $20 vouchers in festive angbaos. The emcee kept the crowd engaged with his lively hosting, ensuring everyone had a chance to join in the fun. A CNY Mass Game brought residents together for a moment of shared laughter and camaraderie.
The highlight of the event was the Lucky Draw, where 30 lucky winners walked away with vouchers ranging from $20 to $180, and the grand prize winner received a $180 voucher and a gift hamper. Once Hougang MP Mr. Dennis Tan arrived, the emcee welcomed him on stage for a brief address, adding a touch of significance to the celebration.
