Emcee - Teradata's Singapore CNY Appreciation Luncheon on 6th February 2025 at the PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay was a vibrant Lunar New Year celebration that seamlessly blended cultural traditions with corporate camaraderie. Expertly hosted by emcee Singapore Ivan, the event unfolded through a carefully orchestrated program of meaningful rituals and engaging activities.
The afternoon commenced with an auspicious Lion Dance Ceremony, where the emcee introduced Mr Praveen Thakur, Senior Vice President of Growth Markets, and Mr Lin Jing Yang, Area Vice President of East Asia, to receive auspicious scrolls and oranges from the lions. The emcee Singapore then facilitated a group photo session, setting an enthusiastic tone for the gathering.
The emcee then welcomed Mr Praveen Thakur to deliver the opening address. This was followed by the Yusheng ceremony, where the emcee encouraged guests to partake in the traditional Lo Hei ritual, symbolising prosperity and good fortune for the year ahead. Mahmoud Shaker then presented insights about Teradata, which segued perfectly into the Tech Meets Tradition Trivia.
Throughout the event, the emcee Singapore maintained an energetic atmosphere, introducing a fascinating Feng Shui Talk by Master Mark Tan and facilitating an interactive Q&A session. The trivia competition emerged as a highlight, with Teradata executives Latesh, Shaker, and Praveen presenting prizes to the top three winners.
Lin Jing Yang concluded with a closing speech, and the emcee led the crowd in three spirited "Huat ah!" cheers, symbolizing good luck for the new year. Guests departed with auspicious scroll box giveaways, marking a memorable celebration of community and tradition.
The event's success stemmed from the meticulous organization and the emcee's dynamic hosting, creating an engaging experience that beautifully integrated corporate culture with festive celebration.
