Emcee - The event, emceed by the lively and engaging host, took place on the 24th of April 2025 at Kranji Camp 3’s Parade Square, celebrating the ORD of the 5 XX Battalion, codenamed "Stingrays." The emcee of Singapore Ivan warmly welcomed the 750 attendees, including the Commanding Officer, LTC Ian Vanderput, who graced the occasion as the VIP. The emcee highlighted the significance of the day, setting a celebratory tone for the evening.

At 4:30 PM, the emcee announced the commencement of setup activities, followed by the arrival of the battalion. The emcee directed participants to two photobooths set up at the cookhouse at 5 PM, where soldiers captured memorable moments. By 6 PM, the emcee introduced LTC Ian Vanderput, who delivered an inspiring opening address, marking the official start of the festivities. The emcee then invited commanders to collect pizza on behalf of their companies, ensuring a smooth dining experience for all.

The emcee kept the energy high with a series of engaging activities, including a lucky draw featuring exciting prizes like an iPhone 16, PS5 consoles, and Garmin watches. The emcee also orchestrated two interactive games, "Human Treasure" and "Sing OFF / Stone Water Paper," involving leaders from the six companies—Alfa, Bravo, Charlie, Support, MSC, and HQ. The emcee ensured everyone was entertained, with laughter and camaraderie filling the air.

As the event drew to a close, the emcee coordinated a group photo at 8:15 PM, followed by the final lucky draw announcements and a heartfelt closing speech by LTC Ian Vanderput. The emcee thanked all participants for their enthusiasm, wrapping up the celebration at 8:30 PM on a high note. The evening was a resounding success, leaving the Stingrays battalion with cherished memories of their ORD celebrations.
