Emcee - The Durian Party at Chong Pang Zone 1 on 13 Jul 24 started at 1pm.
Organised by the RC to promote engagement and harmony amongst neighbours, the emcee played a Q&A game. One person from each table to correctly answer the question got a MSW durian. As it was also leading to National Day, the emcee chose two families to record a Happy Birthday message to Singapore. These families were also given additional MSW durian. As the emcee announces the arrival of grassroots adviser Minister Shanmugam, Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law, all residents warmly welcomed and shook hands and took photos with him. Volunteers continue to give out durian and coconut water while the residents happily feast on the durians.
