With a Mahjong-themed event, the gala brought together 250 guests, including partners, management, and staff, for an afternoon of gratitude and entertainment. Emceed by Emcees Singapore Ivan and Ferlyn, the event was a seamless blend of tradition, games, and heartfelt moments.
The gala began with the arrival of guests, who were greeted with pre-event games organized by the committee. One of the highlights was the Lucky Pot of Gold, where guests had the chance to draw $2, $10, or $50 notes, adding an element of excitement right from the start. The emcees ensured guests were engaged and reminded everyone to capture photos of their lucky draws.
The formal program commenced at 12:30 PM with a warm welcome for Mr. Paul Dessent, Executive Director, who delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing gratitude to partners, management, and staff for their contributions. This was followed by a toasting session led by Mr. Dessent and the Heads of Departments (HODs), symbolizing unity and shared success. The emcees then introduced the partners’ presentation, acknowledging the invaluable support of key collaborators.
At 12:55 PM, the Lo Hei ceremony took center stage with the emcees leading the prosperity toss, encouraging guests to shout auspicious phrases as they tossed the Yu Sheng. The festive energy continued as guests were invited to enjoy a buffet lunch and a live band performance which added a melodic backdrop to the dining experience.
Afterwards, the emcees introduced a series of stage and table games to keep the excitement alive. Guests participated in interactive activities, with winners taking home exciting prizes. The games added a lively and engaging touch to the event, ensuring everyone remained entertained.
At 3:15 PM, the event reached its climax with the announcement of the special prize, sponsored by a key partner and drawn by the sponsor themselves. This was followed by the lucky draw, where six prizes were awarded by Mr. Paul Dessent, adding an extra layer of anticipation and excitement.
The gala concluded with a heartfelt thank-you note from the emcees, who expressed gratitude to all attendees for making the event a success.
