Emcee - The OTH Lunar New Year 2025 Lunch, held on 10th February 2025 at the Central Plaza, was a joyous celebration of community, prosperity, and the spirit of togetherness. Emcee Singapore Ivan brought together the residents, tenants, and partners of Our Tampines Hub (OTH) for a festive gathering filled with meaningful traditions and heartfelt appreciation. The event began with guest registration, accompanied by cheerful Chinese New Year music. The emcee then warmly welcomed everyone, extending festive greetings for the Year of the Snake, setting a lively and inclusive tone for the event.
At 12:00 PM, the event was graced by the presence of Minister for Social and Family Development, Second Minister for Health & Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs, and Adviser to Tampines GRC, Mr. Masagos Zulkifli. The emcee announced his arrival, followed by an energetic Lion Dance performance that captivated the audience and added to the festive atmosphere.
The day’s program, included a recap video of OTH’s achievements in 2024, a speech by Minister Masagos, and the Lo Hei ceremony. Following the Lo Hei, attendees enjoyed a buffet lunch and networking session, accompanied by soothing guzheng music. The emcee also introduced a video showcasing OTH’s inaugural tenants' giveback initiative in November 2024, encouraging more partners to join future community efforts.
The event soon shifted to a heartfelt token of appreciation presentation, expressing OTH’s gratitude to its tenants and partners for their contributions to community engagements in 2024. Minister Masagos presented the tokens to 24 representatives from various organizations, including Achievers Arts & Crafts, Changi General Hospital – SingHealth, McDonald’s, and Tampines Neighbourhood Police Centre, among others. The emcee highlighted the importance of these partnerships in attracting 16 million visitors to OTH in 2024 and fostering a vibrant community.
The event concluded with a group photo session, featuring Minister Masagos, OTH management, and the recipients of the tokens. The emcee Singapore thanked everyone for their participation and encouraged attendees to continue networking and enjoying the buffet. The event wrapped up at 2:00 PM, leaving attendees with a sense of camaraderie and festive cheer.
